Breck Eisner, le réalisateur de Sahara, présentera prochainement son nouveau long métrage, The Crazies. Scott Kosar (The Amityville Horror) et Ray Wright (Case 39) ont pris en charge la rédaction des textes d'après le scénario original de George A. Romero. Remake du film éponyme de 1973, le long métrage raconte l'histoire d'une petite ville qui est envahie par l'armée après la contamination de la population par une arme biologique contenant un virus qui frappe de folie ceux qu'elle touche. La distribution comprend Timothy Olyphant, Radha Mitchell, Larry Cedar, Christie Lynn Smith et le jeune Preston Bailey, que l'on peut voir dans le rôle de Cody dans la série télé Dexter. Le long métrage d'horreur prend l'affiche le 26 février prochain. ( moins )
