Probably the most talked about moment of the VMA’s was Kayne West interrupting Taylor Swift ’s acceptance speech. While Taylor Swift was just beginning her speech for winning Best Female Video over Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Pink, Kelly Clarkson and Katy Perry, Kayne snatched the microphone and said “I’m really happy for you, I’ll let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.” Swift left the stage without finishing her speech but had her chance later when Beyonce, who was accepting her award for Video of the Year, invited her back to finish her speech. Kayne was asked to leave the show after the outburst and later tweeted “I’m in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment! Beyonce’s video was the best of this decade!!!!” Everybody wanna boooo me but I’m a fan of real pop culture!!! “I’m still happy for Taylor!!!!” I’m not crazy yall, I’m just real. Sorry for that!!!
