Au contraire, ils augmentent le problème. La solution ne peut venir que d'un double engagement : en premier, une humanisation de la sexualité, c'est-à-dire un renouveau spirituel et humain qui permette une nouvelle manière de se comporter les uns avec les autres, et deuxièmement une vraie attention particulièrement à l'égard des personnes qui souffrent, la disponibilité, les sacrifices aussi, les renoncement personnels pour être avec les personnes souffrantes. Ce sont les moyens qui aident et permettent des progrès visibles. C'est pourquoi, je dirais que c'est là notre double force : renouveler l'homme intérieur, donner une force spirituelle et morale pour un comportement juste dans la manière de considérer son propre corps et celui d'autrui, et d'autre part cette capacité à souffrir avec ceux qui souffrent, d'être présents aux cotés de ceux qui traversent des épreuves.
