2 Interpreting Media Neuro-linguistic programming

So the next time you lose an argument and you know you're right, here's why. Actually, this is not really some unique approach at all. I learned about it in college in a class called "Critical Thinking." Logicians have names for these methods, and they are called "logical fallacies." Hannity uses primarily the "ad hominem," in its various guises, and lots of "straw man," "slippery slope," and "false dilemma" fallacies here, which all fall under the umbrella term of "fallacies of Relevance" and these particular ones also fall under the sub-category of "fallacies of diversion." After I became a teacher I made my students learn this. Even if they didn't get it, at least they were exppsed to it, and I'd like to think that some of them are awake because of it.
The twist here is that the MOTRS (Ministry of Truth Represntatives) use this crap, and books like "1984", like it's their friggin' instruction manual! So, yes, it is sort of like "magic" or "sorcery," like "sleight of hand," verbal "trompe l'oeil." This is one of their main tools, eg, "you're just a conspiracy nut," which is the trusty old "ad hominem" fallacy of "humor or ridicule." All are irrelevant because they attack the person, not the argument, or they reconstruct/reword the argument, and then attack the NEW argument, but NEVER the real argument. Try it. No matter what somebody says, restate it differently, throw in a few "stupid turd" remarks, and you'll see how it works...It is time to start using their weapons on THEM. We've been using tactics like "facts," "reasoning," and appeals to common human decency. We can go back to all this once this lot is squashed. So, Friends, let us try to remember:
